Frequently Asked Questions
How is your dog food made?
Our dog food is made in small batches using fresh, human-grade ingredients. We cook the food at low temperatures to preserve the nutrients and flavor.
How is the dog food delivered and how often?
We deliver our dog food products frozen and in secure packaging to ensure freshness. You can choose a delivery schedule that suits your needs. Food deliveries are twice a week and contain enough food for the recommended diet amounts for your dog's weight. Delivery area is within Eugene and Springfield city limits. Outside city limits will incur additional fee.
Can I get a discount for multiple dogs in my household?
Multiple dogs at one address will be charged the fee of one dog's delivery. Please email or call to receive the multi-dog delivery discount.
How do I serve my dog's food?
The food comes frozen, so it be will need to be thawed before serving. We recommend thawing at room temperature. Many people allow the next day's food to simply thaw overnight.
Can I use the food as a supplement to kibble?
Our food can be used with kibble, but we don't recommend feeding kibble due to a lack of manufacturing regulations and the abundance of preservatives.
How much should I be feeding my dog everyday?
See daily feeding chart below this section.
What if my dog doesn't like certain ingredients?
Just let us know, and we can adjust the food accordingly.
Why must I sign a form before I start service?
The form required before service is an acknowledment that Fresh Love Dog Food is not liable for your dog's health. Our food supports your dog's health, but you are solely responsible for your dog's medical conditions.
What if my dog is allergic to an ingredient?
Any known allergies should be disclosed when you create your dog's profile prior to the first delivery of food.
